Brock Falkenberg

Brock has over 34 years of experience in education. He has served as a teacher, coach, athletic director, assistant principal, principal, and a director of county wide educational programs, and County Superintendent of .Schools
Brock’s exemplary educational leadership abilities have been recognized throughout his career. He has been recognized as a Teacher of the Year and High School Principal of the Year in Sonoma County as well as Administrator of the Year in Lake County.
Prior to serving as the Lake County Superintendent of Schools, Brock served as the Senior Director of Human Resources and Student Programs within the Lake County Office of Education. Brock has oversight of county wide student programs including preschool, career and college readiness, afterschool programs, and educational programs for expelled and adjudicated youth. Additionally, Brock has responsibility for operations within the County Office of Education, including personnel, facility/fleet maintainance, and legal compliance.
As a United States Army veteran, with over 21 years of service, Brock has received extensive leadership training and exhibits a lead from the front attitude. He works diligently in support of our kids.
Brock and his family have lived in Lake County for over 27 years. The Falkenbergs’ three sons graduated from, Lake County’s public schools. His twins, Nate and Cord, serve in the United States Air Force and Bron manages a welding fabrication business.
